What is Chiropractic?
The word "chiropractic" comes from the ancient Greek word meaning "done by hand".
Chiropractic is one of the largest primary-contact health care professions in Ontario and is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the neuromusculoskeletal system. Chiropractors practice a manual approach, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints.
Adjustments of the joints of the body have been used in the healing arts for many centuries and is at the heart of modern chiropractic care.
